• R8i and R8i-flex instances offer up to 15% better price-performance and 2.5x more memory bandwidth compared to previous-generation Intel-based instances.
• The instances deliver 20% higher performance than R7i, including up to 30% faster PostgreSQL database performance, up to 60% faster NGINX web application performance, and up to 40% faster AI deep learning recommendation model performance.
• R8i-flex instances offer sizes from large to 16xlarge for applications that do not fully utilize all compute resources.
• R8i instances offer 13 sizes including two bare metal sizes and a 96xlarge size, delivering 142,100 aSAPS for SAP workloads.
• Instances can be purchased via Savings Plans, On-Demand instances, and Spot instances.
