Amazon Leo is bringing high-quality satellite internet to Uzbekistan
Amazon Leo has partnered with UZ-SAT, a subsidiary of Uztelecom, to expand satellite internet connectivity in remote and hard-to-reach regions of Uzbekistan.

The details
- Uztelecom currently serves over 13 million users and covers 96% of communities. - The system offers three customer terminals: Amazon Leo Nano, Pro, and Ultra. - The agreement was announced during the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum. - Uztelecom operates more than 234,000 miles of fiber-optic infrastructure.
What's next
Amazon Leo plans to double its annual launch rate and expects to begin rolling out initial service in certain locations later this year.
