Anthropic and Teach For All launch global AI training initiative for educators \ Anthropic
Anthropic and Teach For All have launched the AI Literacy & Creator Collective to provide AI training and tools to educators across 63 countries. The initiative enables teachers to develop AI fluency and help shape the development of Claude.
Why it matters
This allows educators in under-resourced schools to create customized learning tools for their students and directly influence AI design. It helps bridge the digital divide by ensuring AI is developed with input from diverse global classrooms.
The details
Teachers in Liberia and Bangladesh have already built a climate curriculum and a gamified math app. The AI Fluency Learning Series' first series in November 2025 had over 530 attendees. Claude Lab provides Claude Pro access and monthly office hours with Anthropic. Anthropic also conducts AI education pilots in Iceland and Rwanda.
What's next
Teach for Australia has indicated they look forward to continuing participation in 2026.
