Azure Private Link for Elastic Cloud Serverless is now generally available
Elastic Cloud Serverless now supports Azure Private Link as of August 4, 2026. This allows Azure workloads to connect to Serverless projects via a private network instead of the public internet.
Why it matters
This increases security for Azure users by keeping data traffic off the public internet. It reduces the risk of external exposure for organizations managing sensitive data.
The details
- The feature is currently unavailable in the Azure northeurope region.
- Observability and Security Serverless projects require specific Complete tiers for access.
- Projects created before August 4, 2026, can use the feature regardless of tier.
