Bringing ChatGPT for Teachers to more U.S. school districts
OpenAI is expanding "ChatGPT for Teachers" to 55 additional U.S. school districts across 20 states. This expansion provides free AI access and training to over 100,000 more educators and staff.

The details
Workspace data is not used to train models by default. The system uses role-based controls to support FERPA requirements. Educators sent 1.9 million time-saving messages between January 1 and July 16.
