The details
The Windows Age API categorizes users into groups: under 10, 10-12, 13-15, 16-17, and 18+. Microsoft Age Verification is currently available in Microsoft Storefronts in Singapore, Brazil, and Australia. Recent improvements to Family Safety include faster parental approvals and clearer activity reporting.
What's next
The Windows Age APIs will be available to all Windows users soon, with the CheckAgeStatusAsync API arriving in a future update.
