The details
The Gennaker wind farm is located 15 kilometers off the coast of northeastern Germany and is expected to power over one million German households annually. Amazon has now invested in nine utility-scale wind energy projects in Sweden. An independent study found that Amazon's European agreements added 16.5 GW of capacity over five years.
What's next
Skyborn Renewables will use the financial certainty from the agreement to move forward with construction of the Gennaker project.
