Introducing 100K context windows \ Anthropic
Anthropic expanded Claude's context window from 9K to 100K tokens, allowing the model to process approximately 75,000 words. This enables the AI to analyze hundreds of pages of text in under a minute.

The details
Claude can synthesize knowledge across multiple documents, potentially outperforming vector search. In a test, it identified a changed line in The Great Gatsby in 22 seconds. AssemblyAI used the update to summarize a podcast transcription of 58,000 words. Other applications include analyzing annual reports, research papers, and developer documentation.
