Introducing context-aware vulnerability discovery and remediation with Cloudflare Managed Defense and OpenAI Daybreak models
Cloudflare launched early access to Vulnerability Discovery and Remediation, a service using AI to find and fix code vulnerabilities. The system prioritizes fixes by correlating code weaknesses with actual production traffic and security events.

It helps security teams avoid wasting time on vulnerabilities that are not reachable in production. This allows them to prioritize fixes for the most exposed and targeted parts of their applications.
The details
- Only authorized code and redacted data are sent to OpenAI models. - Proposed fixes are validated against synthetic fixtures before customer review. - The system integrates with Cloudflare Workers, Web Assets, and WAF. - Model prompts are routed through Cloudflare AI Gateway to OpenAI servers.
What's next
The service is currently available to selected customers by invitation through the Managed Defense team.
