Meta Takes Action on 3.7 Million Accounts, Pages and Content In Partnership With Singapore Police Force
Meta and the Singapore Police Force (SPF) partnered to dismantle scam networks, resulting in the removal of 3.7 million accounts and pages. The collaboration focuses on proactively disrupting criminal infrastructure rather than responding to individual reports.

Between January and June 2026, Meta actioned 113,000 entities tied to investment scams. A June 2026 operation against e-commerce scams targeted 33,600 entities. The "One Step Ahead" public education campaign has reached 1.6 million people. A US DOJ joint effort disrupted 1.4 million accounts across Facebook and Instagram.

The Singapore Police Force will work with Meta and other online service providers to expand data sharing and strengthen scam disruption efforts.
