NVIDIA Launches DSX Ready to Qualify Power and Cooling Products for AI Factories
NVIDIA launched the DSX Ready qualification program to certify partner products meeting AI factory reference designs. The program ensures that power and cooling infrastructure aligns with computing architecture.
Why it matters
AI infrastructure builders can reduce integration risks and deployment delays by selecting certified hardware. This prevents technical bottlenecks in power and cooling from limiting AI output.
The big picture
While Tesla previously used NVIDIA hardware for AI infrastructure, this program formally qualifies Tesla's energy storage solutions for NVIDIA AI factories.
The details
The program addresses constraints regarding power, cooling, water, and the electrical grid. BESS partners must pass qualification tests and submit data for NVIDIA review, while CDU partners use a self-qualification suite. Certification does not replace site-level engineering or guarantee site stability.
What's next
NVIDIA plans to roll out additional qualification categories for infrastructure and software over time.
