Google is partnering with MN8 Energy and Eos Energy Enterprises on a clean energy project in West Virginia. The project combines utility-scale solar with lithium-ion and zinc-hybrid batteries.

The project is situated on the PJM grid. The zinc-hybrid batteries used are manufactured by Eos in Pennsylvania.
