SourceNASA Competition Invites Students to Help Imagine a Future Enabled by Lunar Technologies
University students can gain funding and professional experience while contributing to technologies that enable future human exploration of the Moon.
- Invites collegiate teams to submit concepts across four themes: enabling extreme exploration, transit pathway construction, lunar resource exploration, and smart and resilient lunar habitats.
- Notice of intent due Oct. 13, 2026, with proposals and video submissions due Feb. 24, 2027.
- Up to 14 finalist teams will receive a $7,500 award to develop concepts, papers, and posters for the June 2027 RASC-AL Forum in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
