SourceAmazon Location Service now supports POI category and density filtering in map styles
Developers can now create specialized maps for specific industries, such as logistics or tourism, without writing additional client-side code.
- Developers can now use poi-categories and poi-density query parameters to filter POI categories and adjust POI density on maps.
- Filtering is configured server-side through the GetStyleDescriptor API with no client-side code required.
- Supported categories include Food & Drink, Transit, Accommodations, fuel, and sights.
- Supports web, mobile, and headless server-side renderers.
- Available in 14 AWS Regions including US East, US West, Europe, Asia Pacific, Canada, South America, and AWS GovCloud (US-West).
